2. Support Short-Term Actions & Projects
Maybe you are part of a volunteer group or a neighborhood that does clean up at a local park or an annual fund drive to support those in need. Whatever the cause, you have more clout with a Fiscal Sponsor. You’ll be eligible for grants from a variety of sources and you can do more without becoming a huge organization. 3. Support Community Responses
Floods, fires, earthquakes and a variety of natural disasters often occur without warning and require a string and timely community response. Besides natural disasters, there are community tragedies and disruptions that require a similar call to action. Silicon Valley Umbrella Project is quick to respond.
Putting together the people who want to help with the appropriate organizations that are addressing the crisis is an essential role that Silicon Valley Umbrella Project embraces.
