PIANO CITY® - Support Silicon Valley's Most Unique Music Celebration
Be a Part of PIANO CITY® Silicon Valley
The First PIANO CITY® Outside Europe
PIANO CITY® is a three-day piano festival that reimagines how and where music is experienced, offering unique and countless opportunities to encounter piano virtuosity in new and unexpected ways. For one inspiring and energizing weekend, we transform cities across Silicon Valley into a living cultural destination, alive with music in homes, campuses, offices, parks, hospitals, and spaces yet to be explored. At its heart, PIANO CITY® is about connection among us. It brings music out of traditional concert venues and into everyday life, creating moments and memories of discovery, intimacy and shared experience between artists and audiences.

From Berlin to Athens, and across cities like Milan, Palermo, Lecce, Pordenone, Napoli, Rome, Madrid, Vico del Gargano, Lisbon, Novi Sad, and Athens, hundreds of pianists and thousands of audiences have experienced the magic of music in the most unexpected settings. Conceived by Berlin-based pianist Andreas Kern, PIANO CITY® began in 2010 with its first edition in Berlin, reimagining the concert experience by transforming everyday spaces into stages where classical and contemporary piano music can be shared freely and intimately.

At its core is a simple yet powerful idea: music builds community. Through its unique platform and grassroots, community-driven approach, PIANO CITY® creates moments of connection among friends, neighbors, and even perfect strangers, inviting audiences everywhere to experience music as something shared, spontaneous, and deeply human.
We are an all-volunteer operation. Every PIANO CITY® concert is free to the public. We invite you to join this worldwide movement as an audience member, performer, host, volunteer, or supporter. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
